Linda came down on Friday and we of course had to go to the scrapbook store! They had some new paper in by Cratepaper called Party Day Collection and I had to get a few sheets. The cupcake and the scrabble tile paper is from the collection.
Cratepaper Party Day
Graphic 45 stripe paper
Bazzil Swiss Dot
Stampin Up Punches
- 2 3/8" Scallop Circle
- Ticket Punch
Stampin Up Wish Big Stamp
Stampin Up Paper Piercing guide
EK Success 2" Circle Punch
Janome Sew Mini
Colorbox Chalk Ink
I pierced around the circle using one of the Stampin Up Paper Piercings Pack Essential guides. It sure makes it a lot easier to get even piercings!
Much to my relief the stamp did well on the Bazzil Swiss Dot cardstock. and I like the effect of the texture.
I'll be posting another card this week from the Party Day Collection.
Very cute! Nice card to have in your stash for sure.ReplyDelete
super cute! Thanks for sharing!ReplyDelete
very cute and love the layering. can you answer 2 questions? i have a janome sew mini. what are your settings to get a nice even stitch? i can't seem to get my bobbin in the right place. i also have the SU paper piece thingy. i can't seem to figure out how to use it on circles.ReplyDelete
Kat I haven't touched any settings since I got my Janome Mini. Are yo sure you have the bobbin loaded correctly? If is loaded wrong it does make a difference in the stitches. The paper piercing thing I have has 3 sheets to it and one of the sheets has circles on it. I just line up the outer edge of the circle as best as I can and then punch like one or two dots in, depending on where I want my piercings to be.ReplyDelete
Really cool card!ReplyDelete
Really cute card. I love all of the layering. Hope to learn how to do that much better at CKC this weekend!ReplyDelete
