Baby it's hot outside! And Western Themes

I called the time and temperature today and it is 97. How our weather went from March to August in a matter of two weeks is beyond me but I know I don't like it...not at all!! It's too hot to go clean the pool out and fill it up. It was too cold, then it got really stormy with all the tornado's and now it's too stinking hot!

I went to Stamp Club Thursday night with my friend Linda, aka LGuild. We had a great time. We met a couple of the other ladies at Applebee's for supper before going and those women are crazy fun! I got some western images stamped and have been slowly working on coloring them with the ProMarkers. I think once I get some of the colored like I want I am going to scan them and then I can print them for when ever I want to use them *okie is such a cheater*.

Here is one of the images, sorry the picture is so bad, I took it with my cell phone which doesn't always take the greatest pictures.

Once I do get to them I am going to use some cuts from Old West to compliment the images. I have ideas in my head but can't seem to stop playing with my new laptop long enough to get any crafting done!!

Living in Oklahoma there are many people I can use western theme cards for to be sure!

Today I am off to spend some time with my friend Nancy. Not sure what we are going to do but I know we are going to get something to eat and then I want to look for a silver anklet. I so love anklets and use to make a lot of my own with beads. In the summer I usually always have one on. Maybe this evening I can get some crafting done. I think my Cricuts are feeling neglected!!

  2. One of the new LITES due out (whenever!?) is called "Yee-Haw!" and has some cute western stuff on it.
I just wonder when they will hit the Wal Mart shelves. They were released in April. I am wanting Crocs Rule out of that release. No one at Wal Mart seems to know a thing about them.
