Graphic 45 Mother Goose Mini Album

One of the ladies that attend stamp club frequents Tuesday Morning and she brought 7 different sheets of the Graphic 45 Mother Goose line for us to purchase, for only $1, for the card challenge. The challenge requires that you make cards with the papers that are purchased and then bring them back the next month. It's always a lot of fun to see what everyone comes up with and instead of cards I decided to make a mini album with the sheets I purchased.

I've always wanted to try an accordion album and figured this was as good a time as any to see if I could make one. Now I could go into all kinds of details about what I did on each page but I honestly don't think anyone reads most of the stuff I type so I am just going to say the hell with it and only post the pictures.

I really love how it turned out and I think I might make a few more albums out of this line. I was lucky enough that BFF Carmen was able to get a package of all the sheets from Tuesday Morning and share with me so I have enough to do a few more albums. I'm not sure I will do accordion ones since I have a ton of acrylic and chipboard albums I can use.

  1. Well Shirley, first of all, YES, we do read what you write. At least I do, and I am 99% positive that the vast majority of those that read your blog, read it as thoroughly as I do. However, in this particular case, a lot of words just aren't necessary. As they say, a picture is worth a thousand words ... and here you have 8,000 virtual words speaking for you as they describe this delightful mini album. No doubt about it, you are really going to impress the ladies at stamp club when you show up with this brilliant piece of art. BTW, you used the G-45 Mother Goose papers beautifully on every single page! LOVE IT!

  2. Beautiful project Okie. I really think you did a great job. TFS your pics. However, your statement "but I honestly don't think anyone reads most of the stuff I type" is not accurate. Like Carol, I do read everything you write and think most everyone else who comes to your blog does as well. Many simply because we want to see "what" you have said now! :)

  3. Yes, I do . I read all your posts even though I don't comment often, maybe because I have commented on FB. I love all that you do.
This mini album is adorable. I think this would be fun to make.
Sometimes you don't need a lot of words when you have great pictures!!

  11. Wow! Your album is amazing! I also read every one of your posts through email feed but am just too lazy to click through to comment most of the time. Please know that I thoroughly enjoy both your crafting creativity and your hilarious commentary.

  12. Oh Shirley, you under estimate your readers. We do ready every word you write because you are funny and write very well. I love to hear your stories, I love to read your posts about crafting, your stories, anything! I don't always comment, but I always, always read. And I am commenting even less right now because my husband is on Hospice care, but trust me I look and read. And I love, love how your accordion album came out. I hope you show us how to do one of these. You used the Graphic 45 paper so well. I am always afraid to us it because I don't want to mess it up and don't feel that I am talented enough to let the paper shine on a project. Hugs, Brenda
