It Is Amazing!!

I have seen and read about the Oil of Olay Regenerist products a few times and have wondered how they work and I know I am getting older and need to start taking a bit more care with my skin but I am also cheap and didn't want to pay $20 for a little jar of lotion so of course I just left the stuff on the shelf.

A few weeks ago I was at my local bargain store and they had a set of Olay Regenerist Face Wash and Micro-Sculpting Cream for $5.88 and I figured for that price I would try it.

I tried the cream 3-4 days in a row, morning and night, and my face got a few extra pimples so I figured I better cut back. I have extremely oily skin on my face and should have thought of that before using the product so much.

For the last two weeks I have only been using it for 3-4 times a week and only at night and the breakouts aren't happening anymore than what was normal for me so I figure that is the regiment I need to use.

Last night after applying my cream I was looking in the mirror and thought "WOW! I think this shit is really working!". I ran in the living room and had my daughter look at my face. I told her "Do I look younger?". She looked over my face carefully and said "yeah you really do". And we discussed how I don't really have many wrinkles in the first place but how this does seem to be getting rid of those fine lines I do have. Then my daughter added "but you still have the bags under your eyes" *okie thinks she should have given her daughter up for adoption a long time ago*.

I will continue to use the cream, well and the facewash, until it is gone and then...to be honest, I think I will be springing for the stuff at full price!

  1. I know oily skin can be a pain in the butt, but on the bright side....we do tend to get less wrinkles than someone with dry skin. I usually stay away from moisturizers even the ones that say oil-free because they still seem to make me feel oiler. I go for things that say hydrating as yours does. I may have to give this a try.

  3. I use to break out too at age 45+ and I went to Murad and it cleared my skin up in a jiffy, now I use Philosophy exclusively and my skin is great!! I am 58 and get told I look like I am in my late 30's early 40's or that my daughters and I look like sisters. I love Philosophy and recommend it to everyone.

  4. It is normal for your skin to break out when you start using any good skincare product, especially if you haven't been taking care of your skin. The product will work those impurities that have been there for awhile up to the surfact causing blemishes. I'm 66 and I still get them too.

I havae been using Mary Kay's newest product for "more mature" skin and it is really working. In the past I have used Serious Skin Care from HSN which is another great group of products. However, I am looking for a less expensive option, I will give Reginerist a try. Thanks for the info.

  5. Thanks for the review Okie. I have very dry skin and have thought about using this, but like you seemed expensive. I will be looking for it on sale.

  6. I have some of this and like it but can't use any cleansers on my face or it dries it out to much. I have very dry skin!!
For me, my niece sell the Mary Kay and I use their product and it does best for me. But still not the cleanser.
But I do like this also.

  7. I love the Micro-sculpting cream too! I think it really does work. I hate to pay the price but for a smoother (and older) face, I'll pay the price.

  8. I too Love this stuff. I have used the regenerist line for at least 5 or more years. I really like the Micro dermibrasion set too. They also have an eye cream you should try. Amazon always has the best prices and they usually have a coupon too. I do still use the dermibrasion set all the time but have switched over to their Total Effects line. Love it too!
