While I very rarely remember who wins what at my parties I do remember who won this one...MY SISTER! The reason it is so easy to remember is because when she opened it and pulled it out of the box I went "OOOHHHH!!" like it was the most gorgeous thing I had ever seen. Which was totally stupid of me because I made the dang thing! *okie smiles remembering how she and everyone else in the room cracked up laughing at her reaction*. I will attribute my reaction to it being over 2 hours since the party had started and my having about 5 glasses of Hurricane Punch by that point.
Webster's Pages Paper
Webster's Pages Embellishments
Colorbox Chalk Ink
I used a fairly neutral sheet of paper for the base of the frame and then added a 12x12 vellum overlay on top. Since there was a lot of printing on the vellum I wasn't too worried about the tape showing around the edges.
Tomorrow will be my last post of the Christmas Party prizes. There will be downloadable file in tomorrow's post and hopefully I am going to start having more files to share in the Make The Cut and SVG formats.
Very Pretty Okie... Pass some of that Talent over here...ReplyDelete

Okay, okay! I look at all your posts;don't leave comments on here because I tell you in person that I like the things you make! LOL!ReplyDelete
Ohhhhhhhhh Pretty! I totally get your reaction at seeing in when it was opened, as that is my reaction too. You did an awesome job with the vellum, I don't see any tape at all.ReplyDelete
Love the colors and embellishments too. It's another beautiful work of art by the craft MASTER!
Okie I love your blog!! I love all your projects!ReplyDelete
The peacock feather DEFINITELY makes this frame pop. Love it. Question....what kind of adhesive do you use to adhere the paper to the frame?ReplyDelete
Okie all your stuff is wonderful. I wished that I lived closer so I can hang with you guys but I'm stuck in Ohio LOL. Keep up the blogging. You know we love reading it all!
Oh this is beautiful. I just got my first pack of Websters Pages the week before Christmas, thanks for always being so inspiring.ReplyDelete
very pretty frameReplyDelete
Wow, this is stunning!ReplyDelete
I've never heard of Webster's Pages that I can remember but you put it together fabulous. I just love all the little bling ! It just sets it off perfectly !ReplyDelete
This is Soooo pretty! My heart skipped a beat when I saw it. Yum!ReplyDelete
This is definitely my favorite frame that you made this year. Question. Does the frame have a clear plastic in front of the picture to protect it? I've seen you do amazing things with these frames, but everytime (okay, like 5-6 times) I look at them in Michael's, I always wonder if the picture someone puts in them will be protected, worry it won't, and put them back...ReplyDelete
Also, where do you sign up for the Webster's warehouse sale? Their stuff is beautiful!
The frame comes with a glass protector for the picture. I order mine from Consumer Crafts. I wasn't aware that Michaels has them. I will have to look next time I am there!ReplyDelete
The Webster's Pages warehouse sale is twice a year. I think you can go to their page and sign up for newsletters and they will let you know when they have them.
Ana I just use my ATG gun to put the paper on the frame. The frame is composite wood and isn't so smooth that the tape won't stick and smooth enough that the paper goes on seamlessly.ReplyDelete
Oh, ok. Cool. I wondered because i thought that you used glue so that the corners wouldn't come up but then thought that the glue would be messy and bubble up the paper. Thanks for the infoDelete
Headed to both sites now! (after I check out the butterfly frame in more detail...)
