Earthy toned card

I found a sheet of tags in my stash and decided to make some cards out of them. I had gotte the sheet at Big Lots years ago and I think I paid fifty cents for the sheet. Now that I know what to do with these sort of embellies I would like more but guess what.......I think they are out of style because I don't remember seeing any lately! LOL

I think with the earthy tones of this card and the sentiment it could be used for a variety of occasions so I didn't stamp anything on the inside. I think it would make a good birthday card for a man, a get well card or even a sympathy card.

No Cricuting on this card but I did use the Forest Branches Cuttlebug folder for the piece of kraft paper on the card. The mulberry paper is some I got at the stamp garage sale over a year ago. I always forget to use the stuff and I do like the effect it gives things *okie wonders how she can get a better memory*. I think the little bit of twine added the finishing touch to this one.

  3. I really like this card Okie...I have some tags that I bought years ago laying around somewhere... This makes me wanna drag them out and use them... Sometimes it's hard coming up with a "mancard" ....I love the earthy colors and the twine..I used some tan twine on my brothers birthday card a few weeks ago and I thought it finished it off perfectly ....

  5. I LIKE this card! There's some mulberry paper sitting in my Jetmax cubes that I keep forgetting to use too! I just had to have it and it took me forever to find it two years ago.

Mulberry paper adds a lot of texture to the card front and I like the translucent effect too.
