There is something about making note cards that I just love! I think it is because I can use up scraps and they seem to go so fast. I got these 3 made in the last two nights. I did make six of each. I will probably make sets of 12 again for gifts since people seem to really like them.
Since I used scraps I am not even sure what paper I used on these.
You can click on the picture to make it bigger if you would like to see more detail.
The card on the left has Michaels wedding confetti flowers and the sentiment is Studio G's and the tag is Stampin Up punches. The midle card is a Stampology layer stamp and the butterfly is a Martha Stewart punch. The card on the right is also a Studio G sentiment. I hand cut around the sentiment stamp and also the layer. The little red flowers are Fiskars ZingZ.
Well off to try and make a few more before LOST comes on tonight!

So cute and easy!! Those are my favorite projects! Thanks for sharing Okie! :) I have a bridal shower coming up soon. I may make a batch for her. Hmmm, I like to give different gifts. Anyone can give a blender! :)ReplyDelete
Love the scraps you used, nice color combos.ReplyDelete
They are great! On the card on the left with the flowers, is that a small brad in the center holding them on?ReplyDelete
I LOVE LOST can't wait to see it!
Alison...the dots on the flowers are just dots of Stickles.

OOhhh prettyy!!!! I can help you with 2 of your little scraps you used. The pretty colorfull ones are from basic grey - Color me Silly.ReplyDelete
Ok this is going to sound totally stupid but what are note cards? Are they different than greeting cards?ReplyDelete
jjabauer what I call note cards are cards smaller than the A2 size cards. Usually they are small invitation size. These particular cards measure 3 3/4" x 5", so they are 1/2" overall smaller than A2 cards.ReplyDelete
Look fantastic Okie! I love the bright colours.ReplyDelete
Love the cards! It's always nice to use up all the scraps.ReplyDelete
