craft again?? This is getting a bit ridiculous! I have been having headaches for the last week. Never felt headaches like these, they are not as painful as my migraines, which is a good thing but they also don't respond to any medications I have tried.
I finally broke down and went to the clinic today and after waiting in the waiting room for over 4 hours *okie tries not to complain too much since she has no copay and doesn't have to pay for her prescriptions* I finally got to see a PA. After some simple tests and questions the PA decided it is tension, and it could be a result of my quitting smoking. I quickly asked her "OH!! so I should go back to smoking then!". Of course she quickly nixed that *okie thought she was really gonna like that PA there for a minute*. She gave me a new prescription to try. I took two pills as prescribed about an hour and a half ago...my head still hurts...maybe even a little worse *okie sighs* but the good thing is I think these dang pills are gonna knock me out since I feel like I could fall over right now.
The sad thing right now is that I have totally lost any desire to craft.
Poor Okie :-( hope your head gets better and NO smoking, as right now your system is having withdrawls and cleaning out all the toxins. **thats what i'm beeing told is going on with me**

Hang in there, Okie!!! You can do this!... hope the pills will kick in as they should after a few more dosages... just don't give in :)....
ReplyDeleteJust think how much money you will now have to spend on your crafts!! Add up how much money you were spending on cigarettes each day/week/month. You WILL get through this! If giving up smoking were easy, every smoker would do it. You CAN get do this!!

ReplyDeleteDon't laugh at this suggestion, but I was getting "tension" headaches so bad that i thought I had a brain tumor and my wacky SIL suggested I go to a chiropractor. I think because she is married to a chiropractor and she can go for free...lol. He cracks my neck, which in and of itself is very hard to relax during, but my oh my does it do wonders for my headaches. Seriously. I love it! I don't know if you would be receptive to this or not, but I haven't taken medication for a headache in quite sometime. Hope you feel better.
ReplyDeleteOh Okie, I feel so bad for you. Headaches and not wanting to craft, you must be so miserable. I've also heard that a chiropractor can do wonders for headaches, give it a try all you've got to loose is the headache.
