No seriously....I AM! *okie cracks up laughin*

I know I haven't posted anything in awhile but that doesn't mean I haven't been busy! I did 6 sets of 12 note cards for gifts. Really....*okie nodding head up and down* I did...I promise! That little dang coffee card in my last post started it all! I will see if I can get those posted this afternoon but right now I have to go check in at the school. I can't believe the summer is over already! But I will be glad to get back to a better schedule...which means more money....which means more scrappin supplies!!

Oh by the way...Who here has a Dream Kuts?? And do ya like it. I am seriously contemplating asking Santa for this for Christmas *okie wonders if Santa delivers early*. I am too cheap to make a full card out of my Stampin Up card stock so I am cutting the pieces into 4 and just using them on white cardstock to do cards *yes...okie does know she is a cheap azz...and okie doesn't care*.

I also have a two birthday cards I will be posting later!!

  1. WOW - you have been busy!! As I tell my DGS, "I been missin' you" and it's good to know everything is okay!

Can't wait to see the pics!

  2. BTW: you are not cheap - I do the same thing with some really nice white cardstock I got at my LSS for $1 for a 12x12 sheet - I use it very sparingly!! I only paid that to test out the Copic markers which are also very pricey and I only bought 5!!

  3. Try Georgia Pacific 110lb cardstock at Wallmart or a store like that...about $6 for a whole ream and works wonderfully!

  4. I am a demo and I make a lot of card fronts and adhere them to either white or very vanilla card stock...nothing wrong with that. It is cheaper and you can't write on the dark colors.
I also have the dream kutz. I have never...over used it...but it really does come in handy. It has saved me A LOT of time at various times and I am very glad I have bought it. I am thinking I will use it a lot more to make 3 x 3 cards. It will cut those in a snap!! And, it will quarter your cardstock fairly quickly, also....easier than lining it up and doing it with a paper it depends on how much you are going to make a lot of cards so it would probably save you quite a bit of time. I should use mine more often...just one of those things I forget I
    ....Sharon :)

  5. I love my DreamKutz!!!! It is great for making cards!

  6. I've been covetting the DreamKuts too. THAT'S A GREAT IDEA to make card fronts! I WOULDN'T HAVE thought of it. Thanks for mentioning it. :)

  7. Hey, I loved all the notecards! The cards are great too. Good work

  8. wow you realy have been busy Okie, I'm glad you are back, started to miss you.
