Forever Young - Giftbag Attitude

HA HA HA. So I uploaded the pictures and then forgot to come back and write the dang post and then I forgot I had it scheduled to post today!

I am working on a set of gift bags using the Forever Young cartridge right now. I still have one more to finish. When I am done I will have 4 sets of 4 designs.

Supplies Used:
Cricut Expressions; Forever Young cartridge
Coredinations cardstock
EK Success flower punch
3/8" and 1/4" Grosgrain Ribbon
I forgot what the patterned paper is and I am too tired and lazy to go look right now.
4x5 notecard
Spareparts brads
Cat Eye Chalk Ink

I pop dotted the matted image on to the bag. Oddly you can't really tell, even in person. Not sure why that is. I sanded the cardstock for the dress images before I cut them. This made it a little easier and I didn't have to worry about it tearing while sanding. I am not so sure about this gal's head. I don't know if she has a headache and has her hand in a fist or if she just has a big ball of hair sitting on her forehead.

I didn't think the ribbon looked very good with just the cranberry but when I added the jade ribbon it made it look more in place. I think the 1/4" was just too small. The colors really do go better in person. It's so hard to photograph colors correctly sometimes.

The little notecard is one that I got in a set of 25 cards and envelopes for $2.50. I think I got them at a stamp sale a few years back. I wanted a card that went with the bag but not over powered it. Oh okay I will be honest. I was just too dang lazy to come up with a design for a full size card! THERE ARE YOU HAPPY NOW?? *okie shakes her head at her readers making her be so honest*

  3. Well I think they are adorable. I always struggle with those girls. I've made 1 card with her and then not touched it again. Maybe I will give it another go! Love the bows. I just got one of those bow things and it's fantastic.
