Stampin Up Flower Shop - Vertical Flowers

I am going to be honest and tell you guys off the bat that I got the ideas for the cards from the internet. I just did a search for "stampin up flower shop" and there were a ton of pictures and just like that *POOF* I was on a card making frenzy.

I don't buy a lot of Stampin' Up designer papers but when they hit the clearance rack I snag them when I can. I think this one was called Sweet As Always, or something like that, and I got it a few years ago from the clearance.

I used the Sizzix Polka Dot and the Darice butterfly embossign folders on the card. For the sentiment I used the Word Window and Modern Label punch, still by far my most used of my punches and ones I think every card maker should own.

The colors are Pumpkin Pie, Lucky Limeade, Pink Passion and a purple one, can't remember which one. I had to improvise on a few of the colors as they were some of the past In Colors that I didn't have.

If you have some of the Candi paper dots and this stamp set then you are in good shape because they make perfect flower centers and if you happen to have the little foam squares that are sold to use with these then you are in even better shape!

I really liked the colors on this one and once I got these done I knew I would have to make more...and so I did!

  1. Keep posting cards using the stamp/punch sets! I think this one is my favorite so far. Thanks for the reminder to use candies for flower centers. No way do I have as many colors of inks as you, but I think I'm going to enjoy having this set of stamps.
