Last month I shared the stamp set of CANNING JARS and dies I got and I did get some cards made with them but just now getting around to posting them!

I really need to look up some more card ideas for these since I find it hard to do design and placement with the image.
The border is from an EK Success Punch. I believe the happy birthday is from a Stampin Up set. The oval and scallop oval are Stampin Up punches.
After stamping the "jar" I used my Stampin Ma Jig to stamp the filler inside the jar. They really don't take too long to color and I spend more time finding the right colors than I do actually coloring. Well okay that really isn't true, but if I only did one of an image it would be true.
I stamped the top on printed paper and then hand cut it and the cording out.
I used Hallmark Card Studio to print of the sentiment and it's just something I thought up. I used a few scraps to add to the inside. I really think it looks nice when the inside is a little decorated.
From one of your gross friends: I still say they do NOT look like peaches! lol! Decorating the inside of the card really makes it look nicer than just doing the sentiment!
ReplyDeleteMaybe you could add a little label onto the front of the jar so that it's abundantly clear what they are. he he
