Recipe cards

Another challenge in the BBQ swap was recipe cards. I got a recipe box from my LSS and used it as my altered item, which was another challenge. The box came with the dividers and some cards. I just covered the cards with the paper and decorated them up. Just thought I would share the cards I made. I might actually have to get one for myself and do this!! I really like doing these!!

Here is a picture of the box. I used Cosmo Cricut - Gretel line for the papers on the box and some of the cards. I used Mini Monograms for the word recipes on the box. I inked the edges with Chestnut Cat Eye Ink.

And here are the cards I made.

The title is cut with Printing Press. I so love the different lettering on this cart!! Can ya tell I like to ink things?? HA HA HA

The title is with Mini Monograms.......love the letters....hate all the little pieces of paper from the cuts around the box edges. LOL But very well worth the effort! The checkered mat is cut with the scallop square from MM, just stretched it out to fit the area I needed.

Nothing cricut on this one, but it is one of my favorite recipes!! MMMMM OLIVE GARDEN!! I did use some glossy accents on the little blue flowers and the centers of the yellow flowers, but don't think it shows up well in the picture.

Another non-cricut *sshhh don't tell my cricut, don't want to hurt his widdle feelins* This is by far my favorite cake!! And such a good one for summer time! The little stamp of the pig is one that Robynstamps sent me and works perfect for this recipe!! *be sure to check out Robyns SUPER FANTASTIC VIDEO'S at The Pink Stamper, that girl is amazing!! just don't tell her I said that! HA HA HA* The little apron's stamped on there are Studio G, my friend Softbrn was kind enough to send me some Studio G stamps and one of the sets had this cute little apron on there.

I have a confession about this recipe.......I have never tried it, but it sounds so darn good!! I used Base Camp for the title. I think I gained 3 lbs just typing the recipe!! HA HA HA........MMMMMM.....bbbuuutteeerrrr..........*okie watches her cholesterol go up from just thinking about butter*

And last but not least.....a great bean recipe! Do ya recognize the boot?? HA HA HA yeah I used it on my recipe swap!! Which I still need to post the whole LO so ya'll can see it.

  1. These look great. I think I might have to do something like that with my recipe cards.
