Altered Frame - Key to my Heart

This is the first of four 12x12 frames I will be posting, and I have to say it is my least favorite. I don't know if I just think it is bland or what. However, my party guests loved it, but it was the first one opened and they all felt they just got better as each one was opened.

Supplies Used:
Ready to Finish 12x12 Memory Frame
The Paper Studio Mirabelle stack
Cricut Sentimentals cartridge
Stampin Up marker
Tassel cord
3/8" Grosgrain Ribbon
Cat Eye Chalk Ink

Consumer Crafts is having a $1.97 shipping promo until the end of the month so if you are interested in ordering frames now would be a great time to do so! The shipping will not show up until you get ready to place your order, then it will have the special price in there.

I used some tassel cord I had gotten at a garage sale to make the little tassel for the key and I think it might be the only thing that saved this frame, well at least in my eyes. All the cuts are from Sentimentals and I like the concept of the frame, maybe I just think the colors are to blah. I added some faux stitching to try and make it look a little more interesting. I think the final recipient of the frame was still pleased with their prize so guess it was okay anyway.

Tomorrows frame will be a lot better!
