All files are lost...NEW DOWNLOAD PROCEDURE
I thought I should let you guys know that all the .cut files that have been on my blog over the last few years are no longer downloadable due to me not having access to the online storage I was using. Luckily I do have all my .cut files backed up on an external hard drive *okie hopes she does anyway* and will be trying to store and link them again. This procedure may take some time and I actually thought about not doing it since I never know if people use them or not.
BUT...for now I am trying another method of storing the files and having them available for download. I think there might have been some confusion about how to download the file for the Cricut Cart Box and I thought I would post a picture of a screen shot explaining how to download the files.
The name of the file will be in the upper left hand corner.
To download just click where it says "DOWNLOAD".
With this system I also get to put a descriptor, which I think will be handy, and will include name(s) of cart(s) used and if it is a Gypsy or Design Studio file.
Hope this helps clear up any confusion.

Wow, that sucks. Glad you still have a back up (fingers crossed) Wish I had seen your system beforwe I had started mine. Oh well. I use the same really useful boxes, just a different size and my books and carts go in the same one.ReplyDelete
Thanks Okie, I was just gonna go through some of your file and see which ones to down load. But that sounds like a bunch of work try and locate and download all over again. Have to start gearing up to make Halloween, thanksgiving and Christmas decorations.ReplyDelete
I've been very appreciative of the files you have made available! As a matter of fact, just yesterday I used one of your files that I had downloaded a little while ago (the one for storing Cuttlebug folders) when I was doing some organizing. So thank you for all the work you put into your files!ReplyDelete
that stinks Okie!! However I do find with everyone headache delivered by technology I gain some new wisdom too :-)ReplyDelete
What a bummer Okie! I LOVE your files and they are truly helpful! I appreciate everyone of them and try to use as many as I can for creating things! :o)ReplyDelete
Just wanted to let you know (since apparently I never did before) that I've downloaded a couple of your cut files and use them frequently. Unfortunately I haven't been able to use them on my Gypsy, but they work just fine from DS on my laptop. I've used the Cricut boxes a whole bunch (most recently as last week) and the folders for the Cuttlebug embossing folders - I love those! Thanks for offering all these. Here's hoping you are able to provide these files once again (and it's not too much of a headache).ReplyDelete
Just a quick note to let you know that a link to this post will be placed on CraftCrave in the Cutting category today [26 Aug 01:00am GMT]. Thanks, MariaReplyDelete
Oh, that's horrible. I love your design studio downloads. I've used a lot of them. I just made up a recipe album for one grandaughter that left for California for college. I used your bowls and did umpteen cuts of your can. I love those cuts.ReplyDelete
But it is a lot of trouble to download all of that for you. I'm going to go on now and see if it will still work if I already have them downloaded.
Thanks again for being so sharing.
Thank you Okie, I downloaded your cut box gypsy file and was so grateful to finally find a solution for my ever growing cartsReplyDelete
Oh wow, I use your files A LOT! I love all your storage files, what a life savor those have been... So Thanks for all your hard work...ReplyDelete
bunny thinks Okie is a smart cookie to have her files backed up!ReplyDelete
Oh I hope you have them backed up. I have downloaded some of your files in the past and look forward to doing more of them. Thanks for shareing.ReplyDelete
